Backrooms Idle
Watch someone try to escape liminal spaces! This is an idle game where you can spend SIGNAL to get upgrades to help the survivor last longer.
There may be more secrets if you can get past Floor 5 ...
I hope you enjoy the game!

''oooh girl, I see you. Let's dance''
This was such a cool idea, I've had so much fun playing this game !! :D
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that!
Took about 20 hours to get through everything and Rainbow Route lol, ending with 1016 runs 113 exists, and 903 Lost
I had fun with it though :) the idle aspect is nice
Cool!! I'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing :)
This is a really fun concept. I think changing some of the audio would be nice, so it's not just the same scream over and over again.
I also think it might be better to have the first room either without the monster or delay the monster appearing to properly set the atmosphere while building up signal but honestly, that's just personal taste.
Other than that, I'm interested to see where the game will go.
Congrats on the fun game!
Thank you for the kind words and the good suggestions!
I'm a bit confused, does amplifier do anything? My passive signal per second doesn't go up when I increase it. It seems like the signal booster is the only upgrade that actually increases income.
Amplifier actually increases signal gained from walking/exiting floors. Every tile you walk gets a little amount of signal separate from passive signal (increased via "signal boost"). It could probably be clearer in the UI for sure
Gets repetitive over time, but interesting idea. Adding more skills and events would be nice. Signal gain is completely unbalanced in the late game. No ending, a bit disappointing. To be fair, I wouldn't even finish this without debug mode.
That's really fair it was quite tough to balance. I might revisit in the future and improve the content/ending if there's interest. Thanks for trying the game!
Oh, but your idea is excellent. I loved the atmosphere and monster design. I forgot to mention the pros, I think. Thanks, anyways, it was an interesting experience.
good
Hey, thanks for playing my game! :)
